From Research to Applikation
More than 20 Years Experience in the implementation of ecological research resultsWe do research by our self, but also we applicate new results from science into the planning process and environmental assessment. Our focus is on the European fauna. We are a team of biologists well versed with mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and several invertebrate groups. We draw conclusions from the knowledge of the ecological demands of the species. Working with large mammals which need large home ranges we are often asked about the problems of fragmentation of the landscape. Searching for solutions we got highly experienced planning and monitoring mitigation measures like wildlife crossings. Also we developed concepts for ecological networks like the German “Bundeswildwegeplan” of the NABU or the migration corridors for Wildcat of the BUND.
